The Allende Program's policies and funding decisions are made by a small board of directors.
Recipients of support from the program have included individuals and organizations in the United States, Latin America, and Asia.
Founded as a 501c3 non-profit organization in 1982, the Allende Program is incorporated in the state of New Mexico.
